The proven, non-skid, UV carton coating that dramatically brightens
your image - and the future
of our natural environment

Now there's a UV-curable suitcase carton coating that helps lift the image - and product sales -
of packaging printers and their customers.  Already proven in packaging operations, Craigcoat was developed by the same industry experts who created the special non-skid UV coating for multi-wall bags.

Highly reflective, scratch and mar resistant Craigcoat makes suitcase cartons stand out
from the crowd.  Colors are simply more colorful - exhibiting as much as 49% brighter gloss
than solvent based or aqueous coatings while providing superior

water resistance.
As a result, printed carton products pack more stopping power and greater purchase appeal.  And inks are protected from the abuse and harsh conditions that cartons must endure.

Environmentally Sound - Craigcoat UV's non-volatile organic
compound (VOC) formulation is the most environmentally sound
chemistry available.  In fact, UV curable coatings are specifically
endorsed by the United States EPA.  They help meet National
Ambient Air Quality Standards for ozone and fine particulate
matter by eliminating VOC emissions.  This Best Available Control
Technology (BACT) also eases the burden on our environment
stemming from landfill waste since UV cured products are recyclable
and repulpable.

Cost Efficient - As a natural, 100% solids material, the amount
applied as a liquid is the same amount left after the curing process
is completed.  So there's less waste and greater coating mileage.
Craigcoat UV cured coating also allows for:

  • Faster production - No heating is required.   Craigcoat
is supplied press-ready and is designed for the fastest of
    production speeds.

  • Better performance - Its unique chemistry also meets all
coefficient of friction (slide angle) requirements and provides
extraordinarily high rub, abrasion, block, scratch, and crease
    resistance.
