UV Topcoat Prevents Bar
Codes From Scuffing

Since bar codes are usually printed with an ink that can readily
smear, scuff, or be affected by heat, they often need to be protected.  Hot laser personalization can also contribute to a coatings destruction.

Craigcoat 1071S is a UV topcoat that can withstand up to 500°F
for protection during wave soldering on PC boards or during personalization of business forms using hot lasers.  The product is available in high gloss or matte finishes for applications where ink or substrate protection is desired.  It can be applied by a variety of printing equipment and can be utilized in other demanding applications wherever high temperature resistance is required.
